Substance data can be accessed through several methods:

• NCAs can use EU-SRS to view and search substance data, which is consistent with the ISO 11238 standard.
• All users (NCAs and Industry) can use IRIS to view and search limited public substance data.
• All users (NCAs and Industry) can use an export of substance data (csv) from the SPOR portal to download almost all public data.
• All users (NCAs and Industry) can use the SMS Application Programming Interface (SMS API) to access public substance data, EMA and NCA users can also access restricted substance data.
